Text Box: When: Friday, December 2, 2011 Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm Where: Downtown Inman Join the Inman community to Kick off the Christmas season with a magical tree-lighting ceremony at the 6th annual Light up Inman. The mood will be festive and carefree. It's a great way to experience a community event with family and friends. This year we’ll “flip the switch” to light the town at 7pm. Invited performers include a DJ with Christmas music, the Chapman Band, the Chapman Chorus, and local dance school students. “Twas the Night Before Christmas” will be read at the Main stage. Also performing “Ready to Rise” from Anderson Mill Baptist Church Along Main Street there will be Carriage Rides, Bouncy Gyms & a Slide, Train Ride, Caroling, (New this Year) Rolling Video Games and guaranteed Snow. Have your photo taken with Santa, enjoy some fine Square Dancing by the Peach Blossom Squares and get a kick out of Dear Santa letters from local 1st graders. Hot Chocolate and other goodies will also be available THE 2nd ANNUAL SNOWBALL DROP Catch a Snowball and win a prize (Bojangles and McDonald’s Coupons awarded) Grand Prize for each Drop- 1 each Boys and Girls Bikes 2 Drops this Year Drop 1- 48” and under Drop 2- Above 48” to age 11 Prizes limited to Snowballs dropped Must be Present to win Carriage Rides Adults $5.00, Children under 10 Free Santa Photos $10.00 All other entertainment is FREE Please stop and visit our stores this Christmas season.
